ASSESSMENTSAdvanced Learning Concepts works with children, teens and adults to integrate the unique learning style of YOUR brain into YOUR life. 1. Elementary Age: Comprehensive Educational Evaluations
Unlock the key to your child’s potential with a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation. An evaluation makes it possible to develop strategies and techniques to better integrate the brain into his or her unique learning processes. In order to optimize learning, we first identify which brain functions are working well and not working. This assessment may include evaluation of emotional and behavioral difficulties. All learning functions of the brain are assessed individually and collectively so that both strengths and weaknesses can be measured. Step 1 – Initial Intake interview: A conversation about learning history, description of struggles, developmental and family history is usually done over the phone. Following this conversation, background materials will be sent to you to bring to the assessment appointment. Step 2 – Assessment: A 2-3 hour appointment during which many tests/tasks will be administered. The duration and intensity are important for setting learning strengths and weaknesses into motion. Most people find this appointment to be fun and engaging. Step 3 – Review of Results Summary Report: A 1- hour appointment to review data, results, interpretation, strategies and recommendations. 2. Teens and Adults: Advanced Assessment and Learning Strategies
Includes initial consultation, complete assessment and report and two 50-minute review/consultation sessions. Additional consultation is available to monitor and support continued progress.
